For some reason I picture Arthur Dent as Jamie Oliver, without the lisp. Weird.

Martin Freeman does look kinda like Jamie Oliver:

Gates of Fire was an awesome book.

His best. He told me he'd buy me half a warm beer if I finished Tides of War. I told him I'd read it a couple of times already and bought it twice, so next time he's in Lincoln he owes me a whole warm beer.

Unfortunately people don't come to Lincoln unless they lose a bet, so I'll likely never collect.

While on a recent cruise I read several books:

A real nice book, it is collection of articles written for magazines and papers (like the Columbus Dispatch, NY Times, Sports Illistrated, etc.) during Woody's time at Ohio State. Interesting to read about those days again and good trivia stuff. I actually brought this one back home. I thought someone else might enjoy it and/or like to add it to their "Buckeye Library". Since I'm a real nice guy I'll mail it (at my expense, last class USPS mail) to the first person that says they want it. Note: you will have to PM me an US address.

Another great book.

This is a collection of "what is your best Michigan football story" from former scUM players. Yeah, I know, it sucked. However, it did have a few humorous stories, and some good things to say about the Ohio State rivalry and Woody. I donated this one to the ship, I'm sure it will come in handy if they ever run out of toilet paper.

Other books I read too (it was a long cruise ):

Another excellent book. I previously had read Armstrong's first book (It's Not About The Bike) which goes up to his first Tour De France win. This one is the sequel which cronicles his life from wins 2 through 5.

Good book, but about 1/4 way through it I realized that I had read it before.
:tongue2:

Don't waste your time on this one.

"Corelli's Mandolin" by Louis de Bernieres. This book is surprisingly easy to read for a very literary historical novel that uses many narrators during the Italian invasion of Greece in WWII. Unfortunately I'm reading a movie tie-in edition that has Nic Cage kissing Penelope Cruz on the cover, so it sort of feels like I'm reading a romance novel.
