What book are you currently reading, or recommend?

How is Hannibal Rising. IMO the Thomas Harris Hannibal related books ranked in order are:

1. Red Dragon
2. Silence of the Lambs
3. Hannibal (which is a huge drop off from the other two)

Black Sunday is OK, but not great IMO.

Hannibal Rising was decent. Better than Hannibal, but not as good as Silence of the Lambs. It does provide a glimpse into what happened to him as a child, but doesn't provide as much insight into the changes in his pysche as I would have liked.

Decent, but not earth-shattering.

I know the whole Earth-Is-Destroyed-By-Meteor genre has run its course, but one early entry in this field was Lucifer's Hammer.

IMHO, this is the book that should have made it to film.
