Dont make fun, but

Purpose Driven Life

I think you're safe...just don't try to use the book to disarm homicide suspects...that doesn't always have a happy ending. And for godsakes don't let on that you've read La Cage aux Folles or Thump will never let you/us hear the end of it!

"The Joke's Over" by Ralph Steadman
Memoir of artist/caricaturist who was a good friend of and illustrated many of Hunter S. Thompson's books.
Finished this yesterday...great read for any Hunter S. Thompson fan.

Gonna re-read "American Psycho" yet again next.

Maybe we should start a book recco thread, to which I would include "If Chins Could Kill"

It is Bruce Campbells autobiography, and is about how they went about making the Evil Dead movies. Good stuff on how to get into that business so to say.

Looking forward to reading Make Love! The Bruce Campbell Way! Satirical bit about him being up for lead in a chick flick. Even a bit about getting married in Ohio Stadium just to piss of the father in law who is a um fan.

Just finished Hannibal Rising by Thomas Harris.
Lisey's Story by Stephen King has been sitting on my nightstand on page 30 for 3 months.
Prey by Michael Crichton is next, unless I can manage to get myself interested in Lisey.

How is Hannibal Rising. IMO the Thomas Harris Hannibal related books ranked in order are:

1. Red Dragon
2. Silence of the Lambs
3. Hannibal (which is a huge drop off from the other two)

Black Sunday is OK, but not great IMO.

Not much of a fan of fiction, but Red Dragon was a great book.

Right now I've got the following three books going:

Touching the Void by Joe Simpson
Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
Eiger Dreams by Jon Krakauer
