Been enjoying BF V. It's a welcome step in the right direction and the closest they've come to true teamwork based action since bc2 (which they refuse to remake, still the Pinnacle of BF games).

I'm still waiting on a BF 1942 remaster.

Now that it’s on Xbox, I can’t stop playing DayZ. I watched a lot of content when it was exclusive to PC, and always wanted to play it. So glad to have gotten the opportunity. It still needs some work, but man is it so fun.

For those that don’t know what DayZ is, it’s essentially your prototypical survival game (has 1st person and 3rd person viewpoints), but instead of Dinosaurs like on Ark, or the toxicity like on Rust, your main NPC enemies are zombies and random packs of wolves. Each server has 60 real player max. The human interaction aspect of the game (the VOIP is what makes the game) is so fun. You never know if someone will pull a gun or actually come up and talk to you. They have base building and you can build a car to get across the map (which is fucking massive for the record). I’ve managed to get two bases built on two separate servers (gotta protect that loot!).

Anyways, if you enjoy survival games, DayZ doesn’t disappoint.

See, I loved Rust for a lot of those reasons + the PvP aspect and teamwork of basebuilding and gathering/crafting. But the hacking truly ruined the game.

100% agree with that.

The sniper combat in DayZ is some of the best in any game I’ve ever played. A lot of that probably has to do with it evolving from Arma 2 and 3.

I am still playing RDR2, but was the same when DayZ was only on PC. I may check it out.

However, I am waiting for Watch Dogs 3 to come out. I absolutely loved the first 2 (2 > 1).

The most recent update on console did a lot for the stability of the game. Frames can still be a little wonky from time to time in big cities, but aside from that, I really enjoy it.

Been playing Days Gone for a while. Yes, I said I was a PC geek, still am. But DG is pretty damn fun, I'll admit. A bit buggy at times, but still loads of fun.

Also been playing Hitman 2. Will always purchase the Hitman family of games as long as they make them like they've been making them over the past couple of years.

Did you end up getting a Switch?

Does anyone else here with kids have the Switch? I am thinking about getting one for my daughter's bday but I have never even seen one in person. Yea or nay??

What I gathered from some soldiers is the little controllers are each it's own controller like a Super Nintendo controller. Most games only use one is what I was told. They didn't know anything about games similar to Wii though.

I am debating one for the kids, too.

I’ve been playing Apex more lately. It’s fun and free to play. I still do a good bit of Destiny 2, it’s recently had the Shadowkeep expansion and it’s not bad.

do any of you know of any great black Friday deals coming up? Game related stuff?
