Logged into Steam this morning and saw the entire GTA collection for $13, and Ticket to Ride with all expansion packs for $5.

Probably wind up spending today playing some GTA IV.

Picked up the new Tomb Raider yesterday after work (GameStop had a used copy for $30) and I like it. Gameplay is very much like Uncharted, but you can free-roam a bit more and go back to areas you have already cleared to find the side mission stuff. There is also an XP/salvage collection component to upgrade your skills and weapons.

Played it about 3 hours last night, and I think I am about 1/3 through it so far.

While I was at GameStop, they had the Watch Dogs trailers running on a loop, and I almost pre-ordered. That game looks badass!!

Fired up Battlefield bad company 2 last night. That is such an outstanding game. battlefield 3 did not come close although it was an excellent game in its own right. Easily the best shooter since Halo CE (no not the skinned version of the reach) possibly better.

Beat Tomb Raider. Great game to pick up on sale. Wide open, fresh new take on the platformer genre. I am excited to see where they go with the next generation. They did a strong job squeezing out every ounce of graphics but you could tell the ancient console was holding back the visuals.

May try out Black Ops 2 as a rental just for the campaign. I have no interest in the multiplayer nonsense of rewarding campers and multiplying uneven teams with all manners of air support.

Steer clear of the multiplayer. It's a joke. Same constant spawn switching as MW3. It would be nice if they finally realized the spawn switching has more to do with the TINY maps than anything else. Looking forward to BF4. NOT looking forward to CoD Ghost..

I am about 50% (total including side stuff like letters, diaries, etc) through Tomb Raider now and I could play that game all day if I had the time. There were a couple of areas that took me few times to clear, but other than that it is really fun game. So far I have not had to look up a walkthrough to figure out what to do/where to go, although came really close once before I realized I needed to use a weapon to advance.

This will be one of those I keep for awhile and play again and again.

I have now finished Mass Effects 1&2... about an hour into ME3 now... Whats next?

For whatever reason, I am fanatical about buying and taking care of my fish in Commander Shepard's quarters..... Like that would be a priority....

Thread - free xbox live items (some expired)
There is an ad on the US dashboard called I've Got Skills (sometimes the name is different, but it's an US Army ad anyway). Just select the ad and from the main menu of the ad, you can download a free theme, gamerpicture and an U.S Army Combat Uniform. The right option is the top left [ ]

There's also an AD from Verizon that lets you get bunch of props for you avatar : Tab, Phone, Hoover board and an outfit once you've watch vids, answered quizz and such.
Just got an AD on the dashboard for Windows Phone 8.
Listen to the vid, get the Avatar Prop.

I got into the Verizon AD but still only see the previous 4 items (Jetpack Elf, Droid Razor, 4G Tablet, Hoverboard). Top right box is still empty for me.
Free Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm T-Shirt on dashboard.
Oblivion Avatar shirt

Simply Find the advert for the new Oblivion film on the dashboard & watch the trailer, after that you should be able to download the avatar Tee.
So apparently the trick is to watch ads for free stuff. Enjoy if that's your thing.

I need my wife to go back to work. Her maternity leave is seriously cramping my gaming time. Haven't played anything in like 6 weeks.

A loving husband would remind her to maximize all of her baby time now while she can. You will get to hog more of the baby time once she returns to work.

http://www.geoguessr.com/

Think you really know Geography? Geoguessr is an online game that uses Google’s Street View. With a small map in the corner of Google’s Street View, you pin where you think the Street View scene is. You then submit your guess and the distance from the real location is measured. It’s an excellent way to travel and view the world.
My best so far is 18781 without googling.
