I am at the mission where you go back to the palace to assassinate the guy who took over after the Empress was killed. After getting over the bridge.

I found where I can Blink up to the gazebo area where one of the main guards is talking to a handmaid, assassinate them both, but then the damn stilt walker sees me where ever I try to hide afterward and obliterates me with those damn fire arrows.

Do you have possesion unlocked?
If so, you can posses a fish and swim right into the basement of the building.

Damn, didn't even think about doing that. And here I am about ready to throw my controller through the screen because it seems impossible.

Dishonored has got to be one of the most fun games I have played in a long time. So many things to do, and the cut scenes and flow of the game all depend on how you do things. I think I am almost done with my first time through it, then I am going to attempt the non-lethal route where you either render enemies unconscious, or avoid them altogether (which is going to be a major challenge).

Load up on sleep darts and max out Blink and Possession ASAP.

I got The Last of Us earlier today and played a couple hours. First impressions: meh. I'm sincerely hoping that I'm just in an intro type part of the game and it gets much, much better, but definitely so far it's very much meh.

The gameplay itself is most of the problem. It's very cinematic. It's most similar to Heavy Rain and the Walking Dead game of games I've played. I despise both of those games. It does not have the same type of button prompts as those two, but it seems to me to be stylistically similar.

Please keep me updated on this. After seeing the trailer I was getting excited to pick this game up. Your initial review has me :(.

It's considerably better now. The ''intro'' part that I referred to in my first post about the game was in fact just an intro. (Really, there are two intro's) It takes 4 hours give or take to get to the good stuff.

Where I am now is getting to what I expected the game to be, which would be ''The Road: The Game''

The only issue the game seems to have bug wise deals with saving. I lost about ten minutes (luckily only) earlier after I died and it disregarded my save. I haven't had the same problem again, but every time i save it takes awhile because it constantly claims to be auto saving.

At this point I'd give the game an 8/10. Graphics get a 10/10, story gets an 8.5/10, gameplay gets a 7/10.
