I thought there was I, II, Brotherhood (which I understand it as being more of an expansion than a game), and Revelations. Is Revelations not considered a complete game, or is the next game just named Assassin's Creed III?

I've played the first one and it was fun, but never got around to buying the other ones. I might have to pick them up because they're relatively cheap on Amazon.

I mean it continues the story, but it's more of an expansion (it's a full game still) since you're still playing as Ezio, but they're still great games...

I'm just guessing the next one will be called ACIII

Assassin's Creed Revelations is disappointing. So far its unpolished, unfinished, and seems lazy. Which, seems to be a trend in the gaming industry as of late, I'll explain later... They also tweaked the controls to make them more sensitive, which makes you more susceptible to jumping in the wrong direction and losing races. The races are by far the laziest approach to a quest in this game, and it makes me extremely saddened that more than 20% of the quests involve some sort of race.

6/10

Only getting a 6 because the story doesn't suck.

Yearly releases are ruining gaming. Batman/MW3/Madden Series are lazy and basically stripped down and remodeled versions of their predecessors. Even new series such as Battlefield 3 follow this trend, yes it's new because BF3 in no way is a sequel to BF2, if anything it is a sequel to Bad Company. BF3 is almost a strict copy of the Call of Duty series, which is a failed attempt to steal some of the market share. Innovation is over, and the time of repetitive boring game is ahead. Woopideedoodaaa. Here comes the influx of, "if it ain't broke dont fix it" statements, but selling me the same [Mark May] year after year is only going to make me stop buying it (after the 4th or 5th time, it takes me considering how gullible I am).

Sorry, I'm going to step down off of my soap box.

Have fun gaming!

Batman isn't a yearly release, the first one came out 3 years ago and is one of the best games I've ever played...

+1

You can't have Batman in that list.

I have said for awhile that a semi-annual COD/Battlefield release would result in better games...but COD has broken their own sales record three consecutive years (MW2, Ops, MW3).

So, follow the money.

Yes, the yearly release of Call of Duty will get old at some point, and will in my opinion result in the discontinuation of the series (kind of like Guitar hero).

It already does get old at points.... Those are the years that Treyarch is running the show. Lesson learned after Black Ops, don't buy Treyarch's product... Should have been lesson learned after World at War, then Call of Duty 3 before that...

This edition of Call of Duty is the real deal. I just wish Infinity Ward was a bigger entity so it could just drop from the series and just produce Modern Warfare games. Call of Duty has ruined the franchise by "playing two QB's"...
