Quarantine Day 12. The CHEMEX has arrived and I am going to begin brewing a pot of coffee a day with a different method every time to conclusively prove which method is the best.

3/14 was an 8+ hour drive bringing the S6 back from Memphis. Trying to burn 1000 calories a day active to net around 3200 burned per day. Having a Precor AMT and a Matrix erg in the basement with a TV in front of it, I’ve got no excuse to come out of this but in good shape. Fuck, I may be ready for an old mans league this summer.

We have done tons of DoorDash over the past year, as our favorite Chinese takeout place is on there etc, and from my wife it sounds like they are waiving delivery fees right now? We ordered from a local-owned ramen place just last night, and tipped the driver a bunch extra (although it did take longer than usual).

my wife is an absolute prison warden with the kids compared to me. My usual answer when they ask for something is go for it, but if mom catches you you’re on your own. I showed her this, she is putting this together even as I write this. It sucks for the kids but fuck ‘em. The more she’s on their asses the less she’s in mine.
