What are you currently watching on TV?

Just finished up The Fall on Netflix. Those writers had to be pretty twisted.

Good story line for a thriller that was sickening in its topics mixed with dull, lame and often-times shallow acting. But it still captivated me like crazy for the last 2-3 weeks. Just keep taking my money Netflix. Damnit.

I agree 100% with all of this. Although I haven't been able to get into the newest season. I'm currently watching Shameless on Netflix and it's not bad.

I was out of town all week so just saw the Westworld season finale tonight... can't believe there's not more interest here in this show. This was one of my favorite 10.5 hours of ["it's not"] TV ["it's HBO"] ever, literally. Wrapped up the season nicely and opened up even more for season 2. I would vote for Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright and Thandie Newton for their respective Emmys, along with whoever does the music.
Agree. This show has a very strange plot but it is not a plot with holes .

Wasn't sure after the first couple of episodes but now I am on board .

And there's titties .

People in the know...are Netflix produced shows available in 4K if you have that plan?
This may or may not be helpful. I know a guy. . . It sounds odd at first, but you will come to understand. He can directly inject the shows into your ass and you can watch them in VR inside your brain. PM if you want more info. Be discrete.

Watched the TNT marathon, after having seen the first episode or two, of People of Earth.

As a primer on abduction theory, it has mixed reviews. Seems the Nordics are portrayed with more emotional range than they traditionally possess, as well as the Reptilians who are assigned affectionate attachment to some human subjects. The Greys, on the other hand, believe they are getting a raw deal, being shown as the most vindictive and incompetent. Of course, the Insectoids, so far anyway, have been completely ignored. Not sure how wise it is to risk offending our alien overlords.

Had some time off the last few weeks and was able to knock out Stranger Things and Westworld back-to-back. I enjoyed both quite a bit.

Stranger Things was exactly what I was promised, 80s Spielberg meets Stephen King (the bullies were pure King characters and "The Upside Down" was a very King concept as well).

Loved Westworld. It was a little slow to start but it still hooked me quick. The story, acting, scenery, etc...all fantastic.

Just started episode 1 of Game of Thrones last night. Gonna try and knock out a couple seasons before my 30 day free trial of HBO ends in 3 weeks.

The important thing to make Game of Thrones great is to immerse yourself in the world. They really do a great job of creating it.

So pick any character and just make the show all about living it through their eyes. Trust me, it makes the experience awesome.

Tried watching some newer comedies...watched The Greater Indoors (painfully awful but I wanted to like it for Joel McHale), Kevin Can Wait (pretty corny, not into it), Last Man Standing (can have some funny moments with Kevin Neilen) and then...Life in Pieces, which I love so far. Interesting concept with the short stories and love pretty much all the characters. But overall, I am just ready to re-watch Community, Arrested Development and Parks and Recreation again...not a surprise but the comedies have gone to shit.
