Read an article recently about Netflix doing a study that concluded that the subscriber retention was minimally affected by a third season. Basically they weren't making enough money to justify ANY show getting a 3rd season. 2 is the sweet spot. Fuck Netflix
Well, at least Ozark got a third season. Interesting idea though. Greed always wins.

Paid $70 for a year of Disney plus and got my mom a Roku for Xmas to share the subscription. Worth twice that for access to the entire Simpsons catalog. I've watched little else since December.

One thing I have watched is the first two episodes of The Outsider. Holy shit lol. I'm hooked.

Looking forward to the sci-fi/comedy starting this Sunday on HBO, followed by Curb. Looks like a solid to great Sunday lineup for HBO

I'm hoping at least the creators have been warned that they shouldn't expect their Netflix shows to go beyond 2 seasons. There are plenty of stories that could be served by no more than 2 seasons. As long as the talent takes that into consideration there could be some great stuff without bullshit cliffhangers.

The Outsider seems good so far, very very similar to the book, which I noted while reading it seemed tailor-made for a miniseries adaptation.

But I'm really looking forward to that Avenue Five too: I've been telling my wife, "Finally something we can watch on HBO together!" She's not into most of their awesome stuff that I love, and I just couldn't do Big Little Lies.
