What are you currently watching on TV?

As someone who has watched all of Parks and owns every season of The Office...

Between 30 Rock and Curb Your Enthusiasm, it's not even close. Curb all the way. I own all of the Seinfeld seasons as well, FWIW.

Depends on your sense of humor, I suppose.

Edit: Might I also add, if you're looking for a 30 minute comedy type show, Always Sunny In Philadelphia is something special.
I did start on 30 Rock, but I'm only 3 episodes in. Maybe I'll check out Curb and slip over to that.

I watched It's Always Sunny until...maybe season 7 or so? Loved it but lost interest for reasons I don't remember.

"Preacher" is coming back at end of month. On AMC.
"Jesse Custer, who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly unusual power. Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy come together and when they do, they are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of characters from Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between."
Ruth Negga is fantastic as "Tulip".
"Cassidy" is an Irish vampire.

With the May 30 episode "Twilight and Starlight," My Little Ponies is getting dark. I used to love the cheer, but I want to have to enjoy the show without understanding the worthlessness and absurdity of Camus and Sartre.

american gods: aimless. slow. dialogue is a bloated, look-at-me attempt at wit. but i still watch because the set-up has tremendous potential.

oitnb: watched about two-thirds of the recent season and stopped. i really don't care one bit about a single character. same as last season. if a prisoner somehow got ahold of a machine gun and went on a rampage, i'd root for her.

silicon valley
: the least-funny season. still good, but it's lacking. would be nice to see the characters attempt to handle success. instead, every episode is a redux of one step forward, two steps back.

silicon valley season finale:

1. time is a flat circle.

2. bachman's completely uneventful send-off tells me that tj miller did not depart on good terms. even a blindsided writing staff could come up with something much better than that for a co-leading actor.

The Mist - pilot episode.

Fucking bastards. What a god damned piece of shit. These fuckers took one of my absolute favorite stories and just shit all over it. I swear most tv writers are retarded - I don't care if that's not the preferred nomenclature. They obviously learned nothing from the reeking heap of dung that was the Under the Dome series that CBS made.

Hmmm....less than 20 minutes in, we've covered no less than: idiot school boards in education, pollution, gender fluidity, police idiocy/brutality, small town bullshit, rape culture, sports idolizations.....

I don't even disagree with their far from subtle viewpoints, but sonofabitch.....I just want to watch a scary-ass shows about some big fucking monsters in a terrifying mist. Is that so much to ask for? Sheeeeit....this may be worse than FTWD...

I may continue watching but I'll be rooting for the monsters from here on out.

Man, it was a horrible season. I was actively rooting against Richard by the end. Also, the best thing about the whole season was Ed Chambers and they turned it into a 20 second throw away. When Jared was having his moment of crisis about Richard's new methods, I thought perfect time for Ed Chambers to come out to play. Sadly, the writers didn't have that in them. Too busy cashing checks, I guess.

Definitely was a bit of a letdown overall, but I still enjoyed it. Frieda almost made the season by herself and I still find myself rooting for Tastee after what went down at the end of season 4.

But Piper, Alex, and most of the rest was meh.
