What are you currently watching on TV?

I just watched Warren Beatty and Faye (Done-away a long time ago) fuck up the Oscar Presentation for Best Picture. YIKES!:panic:
I actually think the person who gives out the card fucked up. Warren was confused because it said Emma Stone, then showed it to Faye who read La La Land. They have a duplicate of the card that was for Emma Stone winning best actress.

Exactly right, but dude, he's gotta look around and say "Hey" I have a card naming Emma Stone as Best Picture. This is too goddamn funny. Loved Kimmel's Steve Harvey comparison. Kimmel live is definately "must-see" TV tomorrow night.

Peace

Leading Actor's and Actress'es in film garnish about 20-30 MIllion dollars per picture.

Great athletes in most major sports garnish about 20-30 Million Dollars per year.

The average Airline Pilot in the USA makes about $165,000 per year.

A good Brain surgeon can earn up to about $650,000 per year plus.

Yet, only one in the above group is subject to random drug testing.

This is our America. You can be drunk and drugged out and make movies, fly an airplane, perform neurosurgery, but don't you DARE to try and hit a 100 mph fastball.:smash:

Wrapped the first season of the Expanse on Netflix and started on Frontier. We found the Expanse a little confusing at times but they go back through things enough for most of it to make sense. Still not sure how the girl ended up on the Anubis and what happened to the rest of the crew on that ship after they blew the two freighter ships out of the water....Thank god we had Netflix o we had something to watch late at night as Italian TV is mucho sucko.....

My ex-roommate, an airline pilot, visited me and we hit the town pretty hard for a weekend. He wasn't allowed to fly afterwards because his liver levels of something or other were too high and he had to get retested. Retested, because he gets tested.

I really like the Expanse. It is my favorite Sci Fi in a very long time, and I watch most Sci Fi stuff. The latest episode, season 2 episode 5, wraps up the first book of the series and answers a lot of questions.

I am watching Episode 1 of SS-GB right now, a BBC One show about an alternative history where Germany won the Battle of Britain. It is based on a book as well.

Just finished Taboo which, if you haven't seen it, is basically eight episodes of Tom Hardy striding around a Charles Dickens' London set (with the snow replaced with mud) glowering in a top hat and grunting at people. We kept waiting for something to happen and even when things did, meh. Even so, something about the show was addictive. Not sure what it was, but I'm glad we saw it and I'm glad it's over.
