What are you currently watching on TV?

Being Human on SyFy (another nice contrast to TWD--BH actually manages to surprise me with some frequency).

And, the new season on BBC of Whitechapel. Love the look, music, mood of the show. As of yesterday, noticed both S1 & S2 were available on BBC On Demand, if anyone hasn't seen it before. They're more like a mini-series--just 1 story told in 3 episodes per, so it's not much viewing time to see a whole "season".

Ok, it's obvious I've been watching too much HGTV. Had a nightmare last night that my 3 foot thick (really?) plaster walls got wet because of a leak somewhere. The plaster was falling off the walls in 300 pound pieces and nearly crushing me, at the same time as the house was filling with water from the leak, like the fucking Titanic. I was about to be trapped under wet plaster and then drowned from a fucking plumbing leak, but I woke up just in time. Fuck...

Been watching all of the old Top Gear (UK) episodes on BBC lately. Tried to watch the American version and it just doesn't hold water.

This. Can't go wrong with the "across the pond" version.

I tried watching most of the first season of the American version, and I just cannot stand the hosts they have. They're equally obnoxious in their own little ways. They also do the most dumb fucking challenges on the American version.

I can't agree more. The US version is simply awful.

Sure you don't have any pipes that need attention?

Maybe your subconscious is trying to tell you something. :wink2:

Planning to watch tonight on H2: Nazi Titanic.

From the title, I thought it was about some huge German ship that sank in the '30s or '40s. Not so much. Instead...

The little-known story of Joseph Goebbels' disaster movie `Titanic'. The big-budget epic pulled massive resources from the war effort and blamed British capitalists for the huge loss of life.

I knew Joe had a thing for making extravagant movies, often with heroic Wagnerian themes, but I don't recall ever hearing about this blockbuster.

My sense of irony is enticed by the idea that a film about the Titanic may have, in fact, siphoned so many precious Reichsmarks from Hitler's till that its creation actually contributed to "sinking" the Nazi regime.

Someone should make a movie about that--maybe Tim Burton would be on board for it.

Playoff hockey. It's too good to resist despite Washington & Boston only having scored one goal in the entire series thus far.
