What are you currently watching on TV?

Anxiously awaiting the season 3 premiere of The Walking Dead this Sunday night.

I'll watch, but I've developed a pretty strong love/hate relationship with the show, given how many plot points and character traits are irritating to me. Needs more zombies.

BTW, it has its very own thread. It's that special. :wink2:

No, it's not. It's [censored]ing horrible. I watched two entire episodes because I had heard good things. That was a mistake.

These days, pretty much everything I watch is on HBO. In fact, I got lucky and saw they were starting The Wire and The Sopranos on-demand. The Sopranos is in the second half of the second season, and The Wire is about to start season two. Two of my all time favs. HBO kicks so much ass.

+1

The Big Bang Theory is the least funny sitcom that i've ever seen on TV. All of the characters (except for the blonde) are incredibly annoying and they overuse the laugh track like crazy. I cringe anytime my roommate puts it on tv and forces me to watch it.

On the other hand, i agree completely, HBO is freaking awesome. Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Sopranos, The Wire, Entourage..... completely worth every penny

X10! At least the first 3 episodes until it's cancelled in favor of another reality show.

wow.....I haven't been glued to a trailer like that in years.

Anyone know when "Awake" is going to premier. I'm really looking forward to that.

It's listed as a midseason replacement for NBC, so some time in early 2012, looks like Tuesdays at 10.

Other midseason replacements: TV versions of Napoleon Dynamite (Fox) and The Firm (NBC). :so:

Tomorrow night, ya'll! 10/9c on NBC.

Being Human--the American SyFy Channel version. Cannot get into the original Brit version--dislike nearly all their actors, the writing, just about the whole thing. Maybe if I'd seen the BBC version first, but I've tried & can't take it.

Revising this, somewhat. I've managed to watch the BBC series now, and have mellowed somewhat toward it. Think it's unfortunate that they lost 3/4 of their regulars & had to write around it. The Season 4 premier was a huge departure from their original format. The Dr. Who influence was apparent to me, and it seemed a questionable direction for this show. But, they didn't have a lot of choice. Still vastly prefer our US version--think the character development & storylines have made more sense. A lot is going on here on our side of the pond these past couple episodes. Find the music choices interesting, too.
