What animals will you dodge while driving and which ones will you not

Anything that will go under the bumper is fair game. If I see a groundhog I'll swerve into the little SOB if I have a chance. I had a squirrel run right into my tire a couple weeks ago. I figured the little bastard would stop, but it didn't. I thought we had a deal.

possums, armadillos, raccoons, all fair game.

nutria and otters raise the level of difficulty a bit, but can be hit if you time it right.
snakes are good as dead.

was once a passenger in a truck that smoked a deer at about 60mph.
holy shit that will stop you quick.

I read an article recently that said due to constant interaction with humans squirrels have been somewhat domesticated. Obviously they aren't totally so.

Well apparently part of that process is a disruption in the serotonin in the squirrels' brains. This cause many to be depressed and suicidal.

So they aren't trying to avoid cars, they are saying, "please take the suffering away."
