What Alcohol Can't You Drink?

Also, just as a question... why do you guys drink Grey Goose?

I have never bought it because like you said it's too freaking expensive for a poor graduate student like myself. I think it tastes fine though. I think other high end vodkas like Belvedere is just as good or better. When I buy vodka I almost always get a flavor of the smirnoff twisted stuff. It's only like 12 dollars for a fifth. It tastes terrible as a shot, but if you mix it who cares.

151...I hate this shit. I can be sober, fucked-up, or in the middle of a good night drinking but a straight shot of this stuff makes me puke every time and it's always almost instantly.

I have had many bad nights drinking Patron but I still love that stuff. Also a few with the Captain but he still comes and hangs out with me...:cheers:

That and Tekilla I will never ever, and I mean EVER touch again. That shit totally kicks my ass in the worst kind of way. And Tekilla makes me the biggest drunk hard ass in the world as opposed to every other alcohol that just makes me a happy slosh drunk!!

I can pretty much drink anything, but I did have a long stretch where I couldn't drink a margarita. I had a bad experience in Mexico! Thank God I'm over that.

Vodka- very bad experience in high school.
Mad Dog 20/20- super, extra-bad experience in college.
Goldschlager- ridiculous, unbelievably bad experience after college.
Gin- I just hate the stuff.

Bad experience with Jack when I was in high school. No more whisky of any type for me as I can't even stand the smell of it. Had a shot of Goldenschlager a couple months ago for the first time since downing a bottle in one night about 7-8 years ago.

Tequilla is a funny one for me. Can't take a shot due to the smell but I can make my own margarittas as strong as I like and it doesn't bother me. I've also never had a hangover from tequilla for whatever reason.

No real aversions for me, but I do try to avoid jaegermeister. It's just too unpredictable for me. There have been times when I've had it and it didn't seem to do anything for me. Then there have been times when I've had it and I don't remember anything afterwards... that's a bit too concerning for me.
