FWIW, Some people in Peru have "guinea pig condos" actually inside their house. I guess it saves a trip to the market and is cheaper to raise your own. It is also available in restaurants.

I wouldn't characterize ostrich as weird in any way. Prepared rare, it's much life beef, only sweeter -- delicious!

As for Rocky Mountain Oysters, I have to say they prove beyond any doubt that Americans will eat anything that is battered and deep fried. Very little flavor at all other than the deep fried batter. Waste of time.

I've seen food network shows that had them prepared in a variety of other ways besides deep fried. :confused:
