Week 8 Games Discussion

It really picked up in the late 2000s when the TV contracts started picking up.

Now the networks want to recoup as much money as they can (if you ever watch the Super Bowl, it has far more than the usual amount of commercials, although that is slowly changing as well and not for the better), and as a result, you get more commercials.
Ah yes the Super Bowl ads, when ESPN America's rights were exclusively acquired by the UK BT group and I had to resort to, let's say "other" means to watch it through an American stream, it was quite the shock to understand just how many more ads are shown when compared to a "normal" football game, although to be honest I like how creative they are with some of them.Thanks for the explanation.
