Not going to lie. I teared up a bit this game at the wave. Spent the better part of last year in WVU hospital with my daughter overlooking Milan Puskar Stadium. And we were one of the lucky families. Those families deserve the little bit of joy they get from the wave and its awesome that they show it during the broadcast.

Please separate not wanting to be reminded of heinous shit for 3 hours from some notion that I don’t care about sick kids.

I about lost both my children a couple years ago. It was horrific. The fact I don’t care to be reminded of it for a couple hours every Saturday doesn’t mean it didn’t bother me.
