They look like every other version of Irish the last decade. Poor QB play, no playmakers, sound OL and D.

He's a liability, but I don't see a loss on their schedule; unless it's today.
And let's be real, Cinci probably doesn't have it - especially after losing their hot Coordinator to ND.

I predict a 2012 repeat for them. They'll cruise through a season of hype, to get apefucked against first real opponent in the postseason.

I don't know, but they have A LOT of work to do. For 25 years, they've had an assembly line of solid-to-great RBs and have almost always found a capable QB. Mertz is gawdawful and that's not long after they had Hornibrook, who also sucked. Gotta wonder if Chryst has lost the touch because they haven't looked like the old Wiscy since about midway through 2019. Since starting 6-0 that year and reaching #6 in the polls, they've gone 9-10 with a sludgefart offense. They're in bad shape.

In don't know the answer to #1 because neither team has played anybody worth a damn.

Question #2 - They're really bad. For 2.5 decades they've ridden a good-great running game and solid QB play to 9-11 win seasons regularly. The assembly line of RBs and QBs broke down and they have no good RBs and abysmal QBs. I'll be very surprised if they win 5 games.
