Week 15 CCG Games Discussion Thread

Oregon is one of the sneakiest cheats in the country. They get away with so much shit it's maddening
Some of it wasn't exactly sneaky.

I remember Tressel saying in 2002 that Miami was the best holding team he had ever seen.

This Ducks team is similar in that respect. Bend the shit out of the rules, but try like hell to not get caught breaking them.

I have to come back to this. What the actual fuck was he hoping to accomplish? Get the 2, get a stop and win with a TD and the point after? It's the beginning of the 4th quarter, ffs. All he did was put his team further behind, in a game where stops are at an absolute premium.

It's freaking lunacy. Not Ryan Day lunacy. They aren't the same. Day doesn't gamble when he needs to. Franklin gambles when he doesn't need to.
Being real for a second, I know exactly the stupid thing he was thinking. A 2pt conversion has about a 50% success rate. If you just look at it in a vacuum, you make one and miss one....that's 14 points. But if you make the first one, you don't need to try the second one and you've stolen a point. If you miss the first one, just make the second one.

It's a very stupid way of looking at it. Which is how I know that's probably what Franklin was thinking.
