Ok here's what I think is going on. Somebody recorded our play calls from last week, and they're periodically hacking Oregon's headsets and playing the audio. Not every single play, but one every 3 or 4.

I have to come back to this. What the actual fuck was he hoping to accomplish? Get the 2, get a stop and win with a TD and the point after? It's the beginning of the 4th quarter, ffs. All he did was put his team further behind, in a game where stops are at an absolute premium.
It's freaking lunacy. Not Ryan Day lunacy. They aren't the same. Day doesn't gamble when he needs to. Franklin gambles when he doesn't need to.
