Again, it's not what scUM is doing as much as what Ped STate ISN'T doing on these run plays.

Be gap sound and that's a 2 yard gain at most. Being undisciplined has burned Ped State more than anything else today.

To expand on this - if the guy that's supposed to be in the gap is blocked out of it, so be it.

That's NOT what is happening today. The Pedsters are either scraping a gap too far allowing a cutback, or the contain guy is turning his shoulders into the field instead of staying outside or the C gap guy becomes an outside rusher which allowed a touchdown directly....if you play gap sound, you stop scUM's offense.
