I don't recall ever seeing two teams fuck up this badly back-to-back with the game on the line. One team, sure, but both of these teams tried to hand the other a win with some of the worst end of game execution of all-time.
I guess a fumbled snap happens every now and then, so that isn't as much egregious as it is unfortunate. But what in the actual fuck was Virginia State doing? There are six seconds left in the game and your play call is to run out of bounds inside your own 5-yard line with time left on the clock? They could have taken a safety and been fine. Or quick kicked. Or heaved the ball to the other side of the field. There was literally one thing they couldn't do and that's exactly what they did.

And while Norfolk State's fuck-up was at least something that could happen within the normal course of a game, that's what you get for going for the tie from the 5-yard line. You need five yards to win the game and you trot the kicker out there to hopefully get to overtime? That's pussy shit.
