I do agree, however, about running a pitch play. Just no reason to the put the ball in the air, even backwards.

I'd almost just take a knee or low effort QB sneak 3 plays in a row. Then try to score running on 4th. Worst case scenario, they burn all their TOs and get the ball inside the 5.
