By the by, that terrific 2007 KU offense was coordinated by Ed Warriner with Tim Beck serving as passing game coordinator. 8 years later they would torpedo one of the most talented offenses in CFB history.

It's almost unfathomable that in 2007, KU was 11-0, ranked #2 with one of the best offense in the country. They'd lose to Mizzou keeping them out of the Big-12 championship game, but would go on to best VT inn the Orange Bowl to finish 12-1 nd ranked #7.

07 is still probably the weirdest year ever. Fucking South Florida was #2 at some point too…..and then lost 3 straight games to Rutgers UConn and Cincinnati
