MUBuck failed to turn in a ballot in the final week which cost him the #3 seed, got bumped down to #5.

As the "Final-Four" is set, you have:
#17 ClutchTrojan20
#2 VCTrojan
#3 WoodyWorshiper
#5 MUBuck

And if MU had turned in his sheet, we would have had #17, #2, #3, and #4.

That's one "upset" and then the next three highest seeds still alive.

Maybe playoffs aren't such a bad thing?

I never said they were bad... they just don't establish who's the best... they give the also-rans a chance.... so.. kudos for that. :wink2:

Im rooting for #17 just because that's the kind of guy I am. BP dominated this contest all year.... and since you're playing for SC, 3 of the 4 are SC board posters....

Yeah.... I'll retract... playoffs ARE a bad thing.

Thanks Muff. I'll agree with YOU that playoffs blow. Personally, I always liked the old Bowl set-up. New Years day was always a blast growing up, because the way the Bowls set up, if you were in the top 4 you had a realistic chance. It was non-stop action from 11:00am to midnight.

As far as "our" playoff, congrats to you on a great season. You were one of the most consistent all year, and I was sweating my ass off all day at work wondering what McCoy was doing. Just got lucky and thought "low."

Whatever do you mean. It's a playoff. It's simply perfect.

As you can also see by the finals being two SC posters (though Dubs is really from here) ... the SC board, as you know, completely dominated this contest throughout the whole year. Wire to wire, if I recall.
