The playoff picture might actually be less clear after today's games. The CCGs will still be very important.

We have three spots left after the B1G champs take one spot. The winner of the Oklahoma/Oklahoma St. game gets one spot. The committee favors conference champs. Leaving us with 2 spots. The winner of the ACC will get one spot. That will be either an undefeated Clemson or a one loss UNC team that just beat the number 1 team in the country. It would be hard to leave out UNC under that circumstance. One spot remaining.simply false
Pretty much. There is a shot that we get voted in over BiG XII but not a good one. They dont have CCG so they dont have a "true" champion so we could get lucky with repeat of last season and our showing today was a good step towards getting those votes. We have three spots left after the B1G champs take one spot. Worse Case:
Alabama wins out, they are SEC champs and they are in.
Florida wins out, they are SEC champs and are in.
ND wins tonight, Florida loses tonight and beats Alabama in SEC Championship game. ND goes in because they are ND.
Best Case:
ND loses tonight
Florida loses tonight and beats Alabama in SEC Championship game.
Let me know if I missed anything.

UF would have to suit up Tebow and Percy Harvin to beat Bama because their offense is pure [Mark May].
I think FSU beats them tonight but who knows.
I'd like to hear the debate between OK State and Ohio State. Would be a crazy debate for sure.
I hope you're right. The CFP committee used their discretion to use the "conference champion" argument in their favor last year.
This year they can just as easily go against it.
This is a business at the end of the day and I like Ohio States chances in any vote that takes into consideration tv ratings and money (if they admit it or not).
The CFP Committee will never put in 2 B1G teams (nor should they): but the Rose Bowl would be a nice consolation prize:
I hope you're right.
SEC Champ gets in unless it's 2 loss florida
BiG Champ is in
ACC Champ is in
That leaves one. Oklahoma wins and they're in and that would pretty much end it with hopes only on Florida the rest of the way.
Screaming for Okie State to pull this off tonight for sure.
