Was this ref an affirmative action hire? There has to be better ones than this clown.

We go from looking dead in the water to being robbed of a game winner late.

Someone needs to demand an explanation for calling off that third goal, and the ref needs sent home before he can change the outcome of another match with his stupidity.

Not to mention the Slovenians are laying on the ground like we dropped a bunker buster and the ref doesn't add any time at the end when we're in a good position. But this is what you get...refereeing in soccer is even worse than it is in the Big Ten.

One of the USA guys had his arm around a Slovenian's hip on that play where the ref wiped out Edu's goal. He didn't call offside, he called a foul on the USA in the box. Of course, the USA guy (maybe Cherundulo) wasn't mugging his guy as badly as Bradley was by another Slovenian.

But that had to be what the ref called.
