• Matchup to watch: Ohio State fought hard for 22 points in the paint and a 10-rebound edge against Rhode Island. Washington will be a much taller order, especially 7-foot center Aziz N’Diaye from Senegal. He had 37 points, 36 rebounds and five blocked shots in Washington’s first three games. The Buckeyes will need to make perimeter shots.
• Notable: This is the first game between Ohio State and Washington since Dec.1, 1972, when the Huskies won the season opener in Seattle. . . . Washington advanced to the championship game by defeating Seton Hall 84-73 in overtime last night. . . . The Huskies lost by one point at home to Albany two days after Albany lost at Ohio State by 22. . . . Washington played six games this summer on a tour of Spain, France, Monaco and Senegal.
