Washington vs. Ohio State Sunday 4:30 PM ESPN2

Need to improve defensively and find someone we can go to underneath when the game gets tight. Sully was always there in that spot the last 2 years. Time will tell with this year's team.

FYI...Thomas is a beast. Outside him there isn't much scoring today.

Craft is nailing his FTs, 8-8 from the charity stripe, and has 18 points in the game. That's a pretty good scoring output. Ravenel showed up, has 10 points - OSU will need him to contribute offensively like that more often.

Who is this ESPiN play-by-play douche? He just said the Big Ten has struggled to get 3 teams into the NCAA tourney in past years.

I think it's the guy who coached Virginia Tech and got let go. Seth something.

The play by play guy I don't know. The color analyst is the former Va Tech coach and his name is Seth Greenburg. The play by play guy doesn't sound like he's watched a basketball game in his life before today....

Pretty solid win for the Bucks tonight. They got a little sloppy in the second half especially defensively. DT had a super first half but cooled off in the second...loved the way he is looking for his teammates out there as he had several nice feeds. Encouraging to see Ross provide some quality minutes. He's looking a little more comfortable. Without much of an inside threat, I struggle to see us in the top 5, but we shall see I guess.

Yeah, a good win for OSU. Once they got the lead built up to around ten, they kept it up there pretty much and stayed in control. Good effort from the team today. Ravenel has become a much more important player on this team than he was expected to be when he joined up. Smith & Thompson combined 0-10 from the field, which probably won't happen very often this year, but others stepped up and contributed offensively. Only 6 turnovers for OSU. The bench put in 13 points against a decent opponent - you can see there is some quality talent on that bench and Matta is going to go with 8 guys this year, that really helps increase the potential of this team to develop while they get more experience. Good to see Ravenel and Ross kind of get on track. Williams needs to shoot FTs better, only 1-5 today, and he only shot 35% on FTs last year - that is bad.

A nice win but I thought the both the O and the D suffered after the subs got in. I can see the difference in the offense in the point guard position between Craft and Scott and in the D without Scott.
I thought Ravenal improved from last year and Sam Thompson looks smoother.
Snow will be a beast once he gets going, I can see that as well as his inexperience.
We should have beat them by at least 20.

The line was OSU -8.5, so I don't know about that. Washington did seem to wear down in the second half but this is an OSU team that is playing 5 guys a lot more minutes than they got last year, so there will be some growing pains as they get more experience. I like how there were a couple plays where Matta used Ross as a matchup problem for Washington by posting him up when they put the better defender on DT - Matta is really good at setting up plays to take advantage of mismatches, and that bodes well for this season.
