Pretty bad, but we're even better when theres a Floyd and Tate combo. Defenses have been rolling double coverage to Tate as a result, he's really stepping things up this year. They're going to be scary good on offense with the 1-2 punch again.

That was one hell of a catch from Tate, he can get some serious air for a guy that's only 5' 11".

Now, if we just had a better pass defense :p

Defense, my friend. Can't blame the offense for scoring more than 30 and losing that one. Floyd did get banged up at the end of that one and missed the end of the game. Thats the game where they tried to pass to get a first down and put the game away, Floyd's replacement wasn't on the same page and they turned it over.

Who cares?

It's 2009, not 1939. Notre Dame football is just a novelty act on NBC. It's not relevant to anything. The fact that this joke of a game is on prime time just shows ND "fans" would watch the Irish play 11 accountants from Terre Haute as long as it was on TV.
