Very weird. Why the H would this game be in Texas?

It's the Notre Dame approach to pulling in recruits from the deep south and west.

1. Schedule one game on a Neutral field against a terrible opponent in a talent rich recruiting state.

2. Win big

3. Hope and pray that recruits don't attend the incredibly talented programs in the surrounding states and instead, ignore the decades of mediocrity and choose your school!

It looks like Washington State recently switched to Tuel at QB, either that or he was previously a starter and had been injured. He seems to be passing better than the other QBs listed with stats this year. Our pass defense has been pretty poor this year, we've been torched per usual, not enough consistent pressure.

On the other hand, Washington State isn't stopping anybody, or their grandmother, on defense. They're giving up an average of 37 a game this season, and they're not scoring big. Aside from a 27 point overtime win against Southern Methodist, the most points they've scored has been 20 on Hawaii. They've played a few tough teams though.

Hoping this will be a big scoring game, maybe a 3 score lead would be nice again.

Ahh, the Alamo Dome. Always reminds me of the fun time I had when we played Les Miles and Oklahoma State there in 2004. The Riverwalk, the Poke U girls, the Emily Morgan, the Alamo, and a good ol' fashioned Buckeye ass kicking.

Good times.
