Target

Target because Wal-Mart gets a few big fails:

1. Lines, really, 30 check lanes and only two open?
2. Being accosted like I'm a thief 10 feet from the register I just paid for my stuff at because some minimum wage worker forgot to deactivate the tag.
3. According to ESPN, Alabama's NC trophy will be making a visit to the Tuscalosa Wal-Mart for general public picture taking. Alabama will display BCS championship trophy at Walmart - ESPN Wal-Mart can even lower the value of a championship...

They used to hire walking corpses to work the register but lately they've been hiring cashiers with a pulse.
The old battleaxes at the door asking to see my receipt used to bother me but I figure that they really don't need that person so giving someone a job isn't really a bad thing, they need to feel like they're earning their money.
I used to really hate Wal-Mart with a passion and would avoid them at all costs but now there's so many of them that I can't understand why I'd drive the extra two miles to Target when I have two Super Wal-Marts that are closer to my house. Also, the traffic near the Target is an absolute nightmare.

We ended up paying more to rent a shopping cart than we ever have anywhere else.

I wonder if they'd be upset if I brought my own?


On my first time, I didn't realize you were supposed to bring your own grocery bags / boxes. Ended up leaving some behind - refunded - because of nothing to carry it in. Stupid! Maybe they could have had a sign "sack your own" or whatever.
