Wallet habits...

I'm usually in too much of a hurry to worry about the cash in my main part of my wallet. From time to time I'll weed out all of the receipts from there and my wallet will then shrink quite a bit. I do keep a couple of $20 bills folded and hidden in the inner pockets for emergencies.

I carry little amounts of cash with me, since my area of the city isn't the greatest. I always am prepared in case I'm mugged on my way home -- they won't get much!

Mines a tiny one-fold wallet so I keep my money folded, large bills on the inside. No change anywhere, don't have space to keep it in the wallet and I hate change anyhow. If I get coins back from a Quizno's or a Starbucks or whatever it's going straight into their tip jar or whatever donation box they have out.

I usually make about $10 when doing laundry each week. That's pretty cool.

Smallest to largest. I have the bills in two sections the first smallest to largest are my marked "www.wheresgeorge.com" bills and then another smallest to largest of unmarked bills.

I've never carried a wallet and never will. Unlike Thump, I don't like foreign objects poking at my ass.

That being said, what little cash I'm ever able to accumulate goes all in order of denomination. Largest bills behind, all in order to the front, then fold the smaller bills over the larger ones and stuff them in my left side pants pocket.

I probally would do that, but working as a server you never know when you are going to hit a slow period so I would rather pay for it at the time then worry about the money not being thier when the credit card bill is due.
