I give up. This board is too hard to understand.

JACKSONVILLE - Attention Wal-Mart shoppers -- the doctor is in.

Solantic, an urgent care company based in Jacksonville, has struck a deal with the world's largest retailer to locate walk-in clinics in two of its stores in Florida.

Each center has a board-certified physician on duty and is open on weekends, holidays and weekends -- the same as Wal-Mart.

Solantic says the flexible hours will make it easier for people who rarely see a doctor to do so without going to an emergency room.

In addition, the days of cooling your heels in a waiting room are over. Solantic says after you check in, you can go out and shop in the store and you'll be paged or called on your cell phone when it's time for your appointment.

Solantic says if the Florida experiment is successful, the concept could be taken nationwide.

I personally think within a few years, we're all going to be ruled by Walmart. Them and Microsoft are going to join forces to make the largest non-functional, dirtbag store in the world

I better shut up before this gets moves to political.

the disgusting thing is that walmart doesn't put out that good of a set of products. It's good for grocery and home needs, but many of their other items are terrible. I go to target whenever I can, b/c their stuff is much better quality at similar prices (picture frames, lights, random gifts).

I am always saying we will eventually all work for WalMart, the government or health care. I see the banks are fighting hard to keep WalMart out of their industry.

Usually companies get so big they are out manuevered by smaller rivals with newer ideas. I am not sure when that will happen to WalMart. Americans love to shop and WalMart is supplying them with the goods and now services they love to buy even if they do not need them.

Seriously...I went to the Wal-Mart by my house yesterday for the first time in about a year...and it's not a super wal mart or whatever, and it's like a mall inside. So many little stores. And there is a Subway...and get this...there is a Subway about 500 feet over from Walmart...yet there is one inside too. Two Subways within about 500 feet of each other. What the hell is that all about?

I hate Walmart...their stuff is so trashy. Go to the one on Morse Rd if you haven't been there before and you'll believe me

oh yea that one is basically in shit town, my mom worked at the one up in Polaris(way north on high street), and it is so much better, the one on morse rd. is just trashy because of all the welfare trash and theives that roam there(nothing against poor people)
