Ventrilo is real nice for gaming so people can hold a conversation while playing any game. It allows for great teamwork, etc in online gameplay. I agree that the recruiting team and the game preview people may like to use it. But I'm not sure how much the general population would use it (there's only one way to find out). If this does get implemented, I would recommend creating a few gaming rooms for people to use.
And again, this just further extends the fact that this site is the best out there. Thanks for your work, C.

On topic: I think it's a great idea - especially if it's low impact on the server. It would be a hoot on special events/game day/etc.
