Visiting LSU fans: please read

Nobody seems to be talking about Pelini. Is he now full time Nebraska - I would assume?

LSU has a huge advantage with the semi-home field, but I might just trade that for a DC - particularly that DC.

What about artificial turf? How do you guys feel about playing on artificial turf? I joined to have some meaningful discussion. I'm a regular on tigerdroppings.com which is the epitome of fanatical craziness.

Ohio State installed an artificial surface for this season. Additionally, a few other schools in the Big Ten now have artificial surfaces because it has become difficult for schools up here to maintain a consistent natural surface. The Bucks should definitely be used to it at this point.

At the WHAC, OSU's indoor field is also field turf.

Great to see some quality outsiders stopping by, love that part of the bowl season.

The scoop on the LSU forums was that this was the place for meaningful discussion. And we were warned not to show our behinds here. Contrary to popular belief, most of us are good people but quite passionate to a fault. I didn't know your field was turf. You guys should be good then. Most of our experience is on real grass.

Looking at the "pressure to perform" angle for this game, I think for our team and our fans, the pressure to beat Michigan every year is far and away greater than the pressure to beat our bowl opponent. The rivalry means that much.

If you must, take it to the NSWF Horseshoes and Hand Grenades board :p

 I already have one of those. I'm here to get your take on an upcoming game. I'm extremely excited and a bit worried at the same time. As they say "Any given weekend". What I like about it is that we have the possibility to be a completely different team than you may have seen the last few weeks. We should have a healed up team.

I'd asked about this earlier - and I'd take the lack of response to mean nobody really knows.

There is one name that surfaced - through a report December 1 on SI.com as Pellini's possible replacement. John Tenuta.

Of course, John has his own plate full while he works through the Bowl preparations as interim coach for Georgia Tech.

Thus, if Pelini is as grad21 suggests, out of Baton Rouge and on his way to Lincoln - and I suspect that has to be true - then unless Tenuta jumps ship, it is one of the three assistants that must fill the gap. My guess, Mallory fills in till the permanent DC is hired.
