As for the degree thing, that's like saying krenzel should stay to get his degree. I think the guy is popular enough that he can come back and get it for free, if he doesn't already have enough money to pay for it.

After Vince Young saw Matt Jones go from a college qb to a first round NFL draft pick as a receiver, he should definately leave early. Playing an extra year in college at a position he won't play in the NFL won't help his draft stock.

He can always go back after the NFL and finish his degree if it is still that important to him and his mom. You always answer the door when opportunity comes knocking...it may not make a second housecall.

VY will probably go pro after this season. This is his best chance at a title, Texas has a veteran offensive line and defensive line. The O line has helped Vince very much so, and has made him look better than he really is at other times. VY is a great QB, but had better cash in before he is exposed for the running QB that I think he still is. He beat us through the air, but I still think his O line enabled him to do so. He will never be a Culpepper, Elway or McNair, but could be a decent generic version of Cunningham in the NFL.

If he goes then there will be 3 awesome qbs going in the top 15 with Leinhart, Young, and Omar Jacobs(I think he could be the best(Mac)

I doubt that Young will crash and burn in the pros like Couch did...if Young doesn't pan out as a QB in the NFL, he can still play WR better than Crouch played safety.
