Vince Young (unemployed)

I seriously doubt he has come out and said he is leaving. And yes he would be talked up by scouts.

As for the degree thing, that's like saying krenzel should stay to get his degree. I think the guy is popular enough that he can come back and get it for free, if he doesn't already have enough money to pay for it.

Vince Young has great size and speed, he could play almost any position on the football field...

He has come out and said that its important to his mom, and himself that he finishes college and gets his degree, he'll be back next year no doubt.

What would he do in the NFL? I can't imagine he would play QB. Why would he leave early?

Uh, maybe to make a shit-load of money?

He can always go back after the NFL and finish his degree if it is still that important to him and his mom. You always answer the door when opportunity comes knocking...it may not make a second housecall.

VY will probably go pro after this season. This is his best chance at a title, Texas has a veteran offensive line and defensive line. The O line has helped Vince very much so, and has made him look better than he really is at other times. VY is a great QB, but had better cash in before he is exposed for the running QB that I think he still is. He beat us through the air, but I still think his O line enabled him to do so. He will never be a Culpepper, Elway or McNair, but could be a decent generic version of Cunningham in the NFL.

Chris Gamble said similar things for awhile too.

He was part of the 2002 recruiting class. This is his 4th year. he should be on track to graduate.
Good call. He could very well be just a few credits short of being done anyways.

you're original retort is a line I've seen many times. Nothing wrong with it, but I'm pretty sure you've talked about how he will not be a QB at the next level.
I don't think he will. That's no knock on him.
I still don't see why he would leave early. The money excuse doesn't wash. How much money is Eric Crouch making?

and its the 'I Fucking Hate Drew Fucking Tate' club....get it right
