Has anyone (or does anyone know of someone) who made the jump to the HTC EVO with Sprint? I'm going month-to-month buying my time until Sprint store have it in stock again, but I'm probably making the leap - cheaper service and awesome phone.

I know one guy in Columbus with sprint and he likes it (for his Palm Pre). That's about the extent of my knowledge on the subject.
Two new droid phones coming out:
- Droid X - big phone, bigger screen than EVO, weaker processor than Incredible
- Droid 2 - keyboard looks mildly better but still not where it should be. Maybe someday HTC will make a touch pro 3 with android. The TP2 keyboard is outstanding.

Yes, you do get a 30 day trial which is a great thing in my opinion.

Got my EVO today in Parkersburg. This thing is as awesome as advertised. It's fast and easy to setup... I need to go back to the start of this thread and read up on all of the tips and tricks for using Android.

I'm not a heavy user, so the battery life for me has been fine. I can see where other might have an issue, but so far no problems.
The Android system is overwhelming - almost too much to process really. I've skimmed this thread for useful apps, but more guidance would be much appreciated.
Overall, I would highly recommend the phone if you can deal with the size.

Froyo and flash are badass.
I wish my parents had a slingbox DVr thru dish network so I could use that app to watch TV on my phone. Although $30 is a pretty steep price tag for app.
