I really want Van, but our next option(Cager) ain't too shabby either. Sounds like a win win for the Buckeyes.

Van Jefferson's Coach told me that Van is not committing on Saturday. #OhioState
What is going on this year with all of these perceived OSU leans going elsewhere? A long time until NSD, but yikes.
We have a great class going, but we do seem to be missing out on a lot of guys it seems we should be landing. What is going on this year with all of these perceived OSU leans going elsewhere? A long time until NSD, but yikes.
I definitely wouldn't say matters little because Van is a very good prospect and the fact that we haven't recruited a lot of taller receivers the past few years, but I would say it would lessen the blow.If we get Cager, then losing Jefferson matters little

Agreed on all points, but I'm more referring to the numbers game. We've brought in a TON of talented receivers, but other than Noah brown we don't really have a taller receiver in the past few classes. And Cager is also a very good prospect. The only difference between the two, IMO, is that Jefferson is a better route runner. But are possession WRs with equal hands, and Cager is taller. By the end of the season, I see Cager getting a rankings bump. A redshirt year with Coaches Mick and Smith and Cager would/could be every bit as good as Jefferson. Another example of UFM replacing one elite recruit with another(if indeed Jefferson chooses a school other than OSU).
