Van Jefferson (WR Los Angeles Rams)

I definitely wouldn't say matters little because Van is a very good prospect and the fact that we haven't recruited a lot of taller receivers the past few years, but I would say it would lessen the blow.

And Cager is also a very good prospect. The only difference between the two, IMO, is that Jefferson is a better route runner. But are possession WRs with equal hands, and Cager is taller. By the end of the season, I see Cager getting a rankings bump. A redshirt year with Coaches Mick and Smith and Cager would/could be every bit as good as Jefferson. Another example of UFM replacing one elite recruit with another(if indeed Jefferson chooses a school other than OSU).

Agreed on all points, but I'm more referring to the numbers game. We've brought in a TON of talented receivers, but other than Noah brown we don't really have a taller receiver in the past few classes.
