Valentine Day Thoughts

I made this for the wife out of red, white and pink paper:

It's draped all over the cabinets in the kitchen and in the bedroom. On top of that I'm making dinner tonight: ravioli (her favorite), brie and a nice salad with some wine, and I'm going to get her favorite chocolate and put it on the seat of her car so she finds it when she leaves work. No card or flowers or jewelry.

If your wife appreciates that sort of stuff as much as getting jewelry, etc., then you're a lucky man.

That sounds like the best V-Day ever. Winking Lizard is legit.

Personally, I am not a V-Day hater. It has no relevance to me...it would be like hating Kwanza or Boxing Day because I am an American/Christian. However, I will take any excuse to drink that Imperial Stout that has been aging in my fridge.

I'm at work. She's in the new office next door sanding drywall. Best Valentine's Day ever.

EDIT - I might not even make her cook dinner when we get home.
