If Valenti thinks that MSU players can't play now, he probably shouldn't take a look at MSU's 2020 recruiting class, which is currently #51 in the country and #11 in the B1G per 247, behind perennial recruiting powers such as Kansas, Tulane, and Memphis out of conference, and Northwestern, Minnesota, and Maryland in conference. Their class is ranked ahead of only Indiana, Illinois, and Rutgers in the conference, and Illinois' class has a higher per-player rating.
