It's a little sad that he no longer even has it in him to just absolutely go off like he used to. He's kind of at the "resignation" stage now. There's still gold in there, it's just not as passionate/fiery as it used to be.

I think this broke Valenti. His criticism was more mellow and resigned than I expected. I thought I might actually hear his head explode, but it was nothing like that.
