Wasn't it a mini series first, and therefore shown pretty quickly? It was essentially a 2 hour movie, so revealing it 30 minutes into this one would not be much different.

I think it may have been two 2-hour episodes. I just don't remember the reveal coming that quickly before.

Of course, now it's not like it's a huge surprise either, so there wasn't much reason to draw it out.

IMDB shows the runtime as 197 minutes, which means you are probably right. A little over 3 hours probably means 4 hours tv time. Doesn't the reveal happen in the first episode though? I forget.

She's the reason I was so fired up about the show. I loved her character in Firefly...loved Firefly in general, and I thought that she would be a perfect fit for this character too. The pilot from firefly is also in the show. Not as big a fan of his character in 'V', as I was of him in Firefly though.


I liked the show. I think that they might be going down a dangerous path with some of the topics, because it's network. I'm not sure you can get away with what Battlestar Galactica did with some of the more risky topics, because cable TV can get away with more , and especially since the topics in 'V' address events and religions that are part of our "universe", rather than having the distance of another universe.
