1. The widow of the solider who was killed - when Anna spoke to her in private - was she killed? I'm assuming her change of heart wasn't real, but was a V speaking in her place.
2. How bout that hot ass blond V in her underware?
3. The message spraypainted on the kitchen door - JOHN MAY LIVES - is that the name of the black guy? If not - what does it mean.
I really enjoy this show.
Do the blondes (FBI agent & the priest) ever stop stinking up the joint? Those two have made the first two episodes pretty unwatchable, whether it's them or the lines they are given (probably both).I still enjoy this show. Just watched episode 3 on Hulu to get caught up. Sometimes, it's nice to watch something different and out there. Better than watching fake hospitals and crime scenes.
exactly, this one feels like fancy graphics slapped on a school movie project. For how a SciFi series could be done watch "Flash Forward". A much better series and story line.

I'm seriously disappointed there haven't been shoot-outs with laser rifles and face-ripping-offing. A lot of build-up over four hours and four weeks just to stab a priest.Muck;1607282; said:too damn boring to watch.

Now, in the original series, one of the "powers" of the visitors was their power of persuasion, which bordered on brainwashing/mind-control. Of course, the original series in '83 was a thinly veiled modern reworking of the Nazi party/fascism, right down to the "V ambassador program," which represents Hitler's Youth Corp. So, while this new series modernizes a lot of what was in the '83 mini-series, I think it's still rooted deeply in its own cult sci-fi universe, so my first guess is no, the widow was not killed and replicated. At least, I hope not, because that'd be too Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and not V.
I didn't notice this. It makes sense though. I'm a little upset that there aren't any new episodes until March. Flashforward and V have been pretty good remakes for ABC. Screw original ideas, we'll just use old ones. But it's worked.I may have missed it/misinterpreted it, but in the final episode, when Anna does her speech via telepathic 'bliss,' one of the throw-away shots in the montage of people in the street looking up to the sky appeared to include the widow of the fighter pilot. If that's correct, then yeah, she was killed and replaced with a V. If it was her, and still human, she wouldn't have heard it. I don't know, may have been any random brunette in the street, but I was thinking it was the widow from the previous episode when I saw it.
