Just sayin': USC was ranked as high as #5 early in the 2023 season and they ended up with a 7-5 record (and unranked). Now a poor defense didn't help much; however, Caleb Williams didn't really live up to his Heisman Trophy expectations either. Caleb was sure in a lot of commercials this season. It just wouldn't surprise me to learn that he put more effort into commercials (i.e getting NIL money) than preparations for his performance on the football field. I've seen at least 12 products that he made commercials for:

United Airlines
Wendy's
Dr. Pepper "Fansville"
Nissan Heisman House
AC+ION water
Beats By Dre
Seize The Awkward (i.e mental health)
Athletic Brewing Company
AT&T
Alo Yoga
Hawkins Way Capital
Fanatics

and this doesn't count local LA TV and/or social media commercials/endorsements, or (other things) like jersey and autograph signing memorabilia sales that he may have done.

How much is Caleb Williams NIL deal worth?

Caleb Williams is just a college player but he has already added a considerable amount to his net worth through NIL deals. His current net worth is estimated to be around $3-4 million. On3 evaluates that Caleb Williams’ NIL deals alone are worth $3.2 million. Caleb Williams ranks second in the College Football NIL rankings. Apart from various endorsement deals, Caleb WIlliams has also walked the ramp for fashion brands like Hugo Boss. He is a youthful entrepreneur who finances numerous emerging businesses and is poised to become a commercial force outside of football.

Was this the final game of Williams' college career?

I'll say YES. At 7-5 USC is not going to get a very good bowl game. He's almost guaranteed to be the #1 pick in the draft; there is too much money involved, he can't risk getting injured. He'd probably sit the bowl game out if it wasn't in the CFPs anyway; but a lousy bowl game just chinches it.

Sir you definately mean Chicago and Fields will finally be released from that hell
Field’s could turn his career around on a number of teams(I.e. Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, NYJ, New Orleans, Minnesota- would never happen, Atlanta or Tampa Bay). Fields for a 3rd rounder would be a steal and all of those franchises are more competent than the Bears. And then Williams will be the new Fields. Athletic QB, no OL, no weapons and bad play calling. Bears drafting Williams would be like the Spider-Man meme with Fields

Yep Williams has a lot of the same issues as Fields. Holds the ball too long doesn't get through his reads passes up easy plays hunting for big plays at times. He might have a slightly better arm but he is less athletic. So he can't rush 100 yards a game to make up for it.
