Troy Has Legs
If memory serves me correctly ASU knocked off top ranked Nebraska in 96 when thew corn huskers were looking for 3 in a row... does ASU have the horses to help us out this year? Just merge this thread if its going on somewhere else..i didnt see it anywhere..

i hope i'm wrong but i honestly do not see USC losing. they may start slow, have some hiccups, whatever, but after four quarters of football they are just too good.

It does seem unlikely when you look at their first few games this year, but I thought Oregon looked pathetic when they played Houston in the opener. If Houston is shredding your defense, then USC is going to have a field day. ASU is much better than anyone USC has played so far FWIW.

Reggies missed monday due to some "soreness" he was feeling after the win saturday.

I really think the only way to beat the Trojans is to slow down Bush, had UCLA done so last year they would've came away with a win. If Bush isn’t feeling 100% for Saturday I think ASU has got a shot at the Trojans not much of one but a shot regardless. It’s conceivable to keep pace with Lienart and his receiving corps, but to do so with Bush in the mix makes exploiting the opposing defense Childs play. ASU aside from getting some huge plays needs to be able to dink and dunk their way to winning the time of possession holding the pigskin for 34+ minutes. But of the utmost importance is not letting Bush rip off 20, 30+ yard runs.

This is probably our second best hope for a USC upset. Arizona State looks pretty good this year as they should have knocked off LSU.

You gotta realize that everybody in the PAC 10 will be gunning to beat usc. They'll be playing like they have nothing to lose against them, and that can be dangerous in itself.

That, and add to the fact that ASU has a good passing offense, and USC has bad passing defense, and this looks taylor made for a possible upset.

Even so, I just think USC has too much talent to go down in smoke. 35-25 USC.
