Maybe they should try Zibikowski at QB
He actually did play QB in high school, got a couple scholarship offers from Big 10 schools and Navy I think. One of the big seniors being looked at by teams in that class, the other was Leak, ESPN was following both.

Was at the game yesterday, yeah, about as ugly as it gets. So far this team has shown no consistant improvement. They probably could have started Clausen and the game wouldn't have changed. Offensive line is still the problem, protection was bad, on running plays the line actually moved backwards instead of forwards. Its hard for a ball carrier to find the hole when you don't have your line moving a yard or two ahead, you're forced to make your read much earlier, especially when the hole isn't even there. The fullback, Schwapp, had some blocking problems too, he wasn't hitting anybody. Someone pointed out on Sharpley's sack at the beginning of the 3rd quarter, the center, Sullivan, didn't bother to really hit the guy that came through. No wonder the guy is in the top 10 most disappointing players this year.

Defense looked decent through the first half, they at least kept it close. I don't believe there was a first down till the last part of the 4th quarter though, it was pretty much 3 and out the whole 2nd half and most of the 1st, pretty sad. The Navy streak being broken is looking very realistic at this point, a bye week isn't going to do much to prepare this team. They need to get back to fundamentals, learn how block, learn how to tackle, and control the line of scrimmage.

I feel for some of the 5th year seniors. Laws is having a monster year, and his performance is kind of being dwarfed by the fact the team is doing so horribly.

Isn't that what the mid season boot camp was all about?

Essentially the ND season boils down to 9 weeks of prep for these last four games.
